The release of the recent volume Advances in Contemplative Psychotherapy marks a watershed moment in the field of mental health as a convergence of disciplines East and West--ancient and modern, spiritual and psychological, analytic and embodied--usher in the dawn of a new age of integration. Join Buddhist psychotherapist and the book’s co-editor Dr. Miles Neale as he shares the genesis of this timely publication, the historical and cultural context from which the current paradigm shift emerges, as well as how contemplative psychotherapy addresses the potential limits posed by either Buddhist meditation or psychotherapy when pursued alone.
