Community Meditation

In-person Community Meditations are offered the second Sunday of every month. We begin with sitting and walking meditation practice (2-3pm), followed by a talk, workshop and discussion, or further practice, and time for socializing and refreshments. On the dates we offer an extended community meditation, there will be no talk accompanying the meditation practice.

Open to meditators of all experience levels, Community Meditations are a good opportunity to engage in sitting meditation in community. Many people find that sitting with others is a helpful support for their practice of meditation.  

During these events we practice together, meet or reconnect with other members of our community, and refresh our sense of well-being, goodness, and sanity.   

Guided meditation instruction will be available; if you are new to meditation you may also want to consider joining an online Learn To Meditate on one of the preceding Tuesdays. Click here to learn more information about our Learn to Meditate classes.

All group meditations will be held from 2-4pm every second Sunday of the month. Our new location is 151 W. 30th, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10001.
