Shambhala Sunday Gathering – Loving All; Hating No One
Featuring Agness Au
November 3, 2024 at 3PM

We are all capable of the emotions of love and hate, but in the face of a fragmented world swirling with war violence, weather disasters, extreme political polarization, and more – is the idea of ‘non-bias’ and the wisdom of equanimity, simply a self-delusional pipe dream? Can the warrior’s path and bodhisattva activity help us to individually and collectively serve the world?

To truly overcome aggression and hate, and open to the possibility of deeper understanding and care for all, we’ll look at the paradox of love and hate, the openness of basic goodness, and the greater view and experience of equanimity. The potential for generating love or hate is always there, so let’s help ourselves and others to make better choices. Please join us to add your voice to this open discussion.
