Public Sitting

The Shambhala Meditation Center of New York offers drop-in, by-donation public meditation sessions. The silent, sitting meditation is hosted by a time-keeper and interspersed with brief periods of walking meditation.

Thursdays, 6 – 7 pm
Fridays, 6 – 7 pm
Sundays, 9 – 11:45 am

By donation. No registration necessary. Come for all or for part of the sitting period.

New to meditation? The Learn to Meditate sessions offered at the Center can serve as an excellent introduction to the public sit.
