Shambhala Day Celebration + Group Meditation (In-Person)
You're invited to join us for a Shambhala Day celebration and group meditation on Sunday, March 9 at 2PM!
This month will feature our annual Shambhala Day celebration along with a community meditation session, refreshments, and time to socialize with others.
Shambhala Day falls on Friday February 28 this coming year and will welcome in the Year of the Wood Snake. In Tibetan astrology, the Year of the Snake is associated with qualities of wisdom, mystery, and transformation, and is often associated with the idea of shedding one’s skin, rebirth, and renewal. This symbolism illustrates our ability to adapt, change, and embrace new beginnings. The element of Wood in the upcoming Wood Snake brings us a year that could feel more ordered and calm - and with a greater ability to appreciate the world around us.
Open to meditators of all experience levels, group meditations offer us a chance to practice together, meet and connect with other members of our community, and refresh our sense of well-being, goodness, and sanity.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds. For more information on our generosity policy and pricing, click here.
LOCATION: 151 W. 30th, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10001
