Characters in the Shrine Room: Performance + Group Meditation (In-Person)
with Lanny Harrison
Characters in the Shrine Room
Performance + Group Meditation (In-Person)
Sunday, December 8, 2024
2PM
Open to meditators of all experience levels, community meditations offer us a chance to practice and study together, meet and connect with other members of our community and refresh our sense of well-being, goodness, and sanity.
During this event, Lanny Harrison will offer a short performance with original poetry and movement along with Rachel Faro, who will be on board with her inimitable voice and music. Lanny will riff on how theater & dharma practice can complement each other. Throughout the performance, a few Characters will appear & disappear. At the end, there will be a brief exchange/conversation with the whole group.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds. For more information on our generosity policy and pricing, click here.
LOCATION: 151 W. 30th, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10001
New to meditation? The Learn to Meditate sessions offered every Tuesday evening of the month can serve as an excellent introduction to sitting meditation.
