It's time for movie night! Please join us for a showing of The Dhamma Brothers, a 2007 documentary about a prison meditation program at Donaldson Correctional Facility in Alabama. Filmed in 2002, this provocative film follows a small group of inmates through a 10-day silent meditation retreat consisting of a rigorous daily schedule. Find out what happens when an intensive retreat is held inside a maximum security prison.

The film was directed by Jenny Phillips, a cultural anthropologist and psychotherapist; Andrew Kukura, a documentary filmmaker; and Anne Marie Stein, a film school administrator.

There will be a discussion following the movie for those who would like to participate.
