A partial screening of the award-winning documentary film QUEER CITY, focusing on the life of a transgender young man, will initiate a discussion of the fluidity of our gender identity. A panel of experts will lead a discussion of the meaning of identity and the Buddhist concepts of relative and absolute identity. Being comfortable in our own skin is a necessary condition as we develop compassion for ourselves and ultimately embrace our connectedness to all sentient beings.  Please join us for this important discussion.
