Pricing and Generosity Policies

Programs Pricing:
The New York Shambhala Center relies on the ongoing generosity of our members and program participants to sustain our programs and community events. We feel that no one should be prevented from joining or participating in our center’s programs because of financial considerations.

We offer tiered pricing options to encourage generosity and support a variety of financial circumstances. Our Patron level supports those who are unable to attend a program at the basic program price. The tiers are as follows:

Patron — This level provides more support for the center and enables us to include participants who cannot pay the program price through scholarships.
Program — The basic fee required by each participant to sustain the costs of the program.
Member — This is a discounted price for individuals who are current SMCNY members. Click here to learn more about becoming a member of our center!

Please consider the value of the program and practice generosity at the level appropriate for you. Paying the full program or patron price provides much needed support to Shambhala New York. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. For more information please see our generosity policy below.

Generosity Policy:
The Shambhala Meditation Center of New York is sustained by the generosity of its community of members and program participants. It is our sincere wish that no one be prevented from participating in our programs and events due to financial constraints.

Our Generosity Policy and multi-tier payment options help to make programming available to all those who wish to participate. The program price reflects our costs to present a program. If the full price is an obstacle, the Shambhala Meditation Center of New York can offer a discount to accommodate your circumstances. Additionally, we offer the option of splitting program fees into multiple weekly or monthly payments.

To utilize the Generosity Policy and/or Multi-Payment options, please email us at [email protected] or call us at 212.256.9131. Please make arrangements in advance—we cannot accept Generosity Policy registrations at the beginning of a class.
