Journey of Fearlessness is a support group for meditators working with PTSD  and other related trauma conditioning. Those engaged in other mindfulness-based practices are welcome too.

With the decades long success of groups like AA, it’s known that people who share a common problem can support and empower each other through mutual experience and understanding.

Journey of Fearlessness joins the view and practices of the dharma with ongoing developments in psychology. We engage in meditation practices and contemplations, and discuss readings and relevant topics as a path for self-empowerment and self-realization. Body-based awareness disciplines, some of which we share and practice, are encouraged.

We meet at the First Unitarian of Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, close to Manhattan: a two-minute walk from the 2, 3, N, R trains, an eight-minute walk from the 4 and 5, and a ten-minute walk from the A, C and F.

Please note that Journey of Fearlessness is NOT a walk-in group. If you are interested or have further questions, please email Gabriel Clare ([email protected]) to arrange for an initial conversation, in confidence.
